Although we both work as teachers in a small rural community, we also have broad experience across the education sector: Public, independent, catholic and specialist schools in both Secondary and Primary years.
Our passion for supporting the wellbeing of rural and regional schools, their students and communities has grown from these experiences and we have developed a deep understanding of the priorities and challenges faced in such communities. There is a need in regional areas, for schools and communities to have access to up-to-date wellbeing research and adaptable tools for our students to learn to live successfully in our changing world. A world which requires emotional agility, resilience, effective communication and humility to navigate the ups and downs our children will inevitably face.
Preparing the next generation for this future is paramount to their success and it is why we want to share our knowledge of and love for the science of positive psychology.
